Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of API Development experience using NodeJS
- Experience working with MongoDB
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, especially Git
- Strong sense of feature ownership and an urge for continuous learning
- Good Logical and analytical capabilities
- Good communication skills
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with API Frameworks like loopback
- Experience in Angular framework
- Experience working with TypeScript
- Experience with cloud environments like AWS
Responsibilities:
- Work as part of the API team in developing new APIs and maintaining existing ones using technologies like Loopback framework, NodeJS, MySQL and MongoDB
- Be an active participant in all activities related to API development from requirements gathering to final delivery
- Analyze customer issues to identify the underlying issues and apply fixes as needed
- Work closely with the Data team to understand the data rules and data behavior and consider those during actual API Implementation
- Collaborate with QA/Devops/Support team to deliver requirements
- Update status of tasks worked on using internal issue tracker and to the leads appropriately
